Background

Bayshore Investment Partners, LLC ("BIP") is a real estate investment and management firm that was formed in 2010 to acquire and operate multifamily and commercial properties. Today, BIP acquires apartments, retail centers, and industrial flex assets.



Based in Miami, BIP's principals currently own and operate fourteen multifamily communities consisting of approximately 1,850 units and 106,800 square feet of commercial assets. Combined, the principals have acquired and/or managed over $4 billion of real estate assets nationwide during their careers.

Historical Benefits of Investing in Multifamily*

  • Cash flow. Multifamily assets may provide steady, dependable cash flow and have historically been less volatile than many other income producing investments.
  • Potential capital appreciation. Bayshore's business model targets deploying a higher proportion of investment post-market corrections and selling during more mature stages of cyclical markets. In the interim, investors typically receive dividends that are more attractive than most fixed-income investments.
  • Tax benefits. Real estate investments are quite advantageous from a tax perspective in comparison to other investments due to depreciation and other fiscal benefits.
  • Hedge against interest rate increases. Depending on the business plan for a given asset, interest rate growth can normally be hedged by obtaining long term fixed rate financing.
