Nicolás López, a finance executive, has a track record of driving growth and profitability in diverse industries. His accomplishments include leading Smart Fit’s successful expansion in Ecuador as Head of Finance for four years, where he was part of the initial executive team that grew the company from 0 to 10 locations. He oversaw the financial performance of all locations, bringing them to profitability within the first twelve months of operations. While managing finances for Schlumberger’s Geomarket Segment during the oil boom and bust cycle, Nicolas focused on finding opportunities to reduce costs through contract negotiations and volume discount agreements. Additionally, he analyzed financial performance for companies in the healthcare industry in the Eastern USA and Canada, managing a portfolio of $300 million in revenue.

Now, as Vice President of BIP’s acquisitions and asset management team, Nicolas is responsible for optimizing financial performance and identifying growth opportunities in the real estate industry.

Nicolas holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from Dalhousie University (Canada) and a Master’s degree in Science and Information Systems with a focus in Business Analytics from Florida International University (USA).
